Description

A refreshing summer snack featuring zesty watermelon salsa paired with crispy cinnamon tortilla chips.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups watermelon, diced
  • 1 cup red onion, diced
  • 1 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tortillas (flour or corn)
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Combine the diced watermelon, red onion, and chopped cilantro in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Squeeze in the lime juice and sprinkle with salt.
  3. Toss the ingredients together until well combined.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Brush both sides of the tortillas with melted butter and sprinkle cinnamon sugar over both sides.
  6. Cut the tortillas into triangles and arrange on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for about 10-15 minutes until crispy and lightly golden.
  8. Serve the chips alongside your Watermelon Salsa.

Notes

Store leftover salsa in an airtight container for up to 2-3 days; keep chips separate to maintain crispiness.
