Description

A refreshing summer dessert combining layers of creamy cheesecake, fruity strawberry Jello, and a crispy Golden Oreo crust, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 36 Golden Oreos, crushed
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups Cool Whip, divided
  • 1 package (3 ounces) Strawberry Jello
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: Begin by mixing the crushed Golden Oreos with the melted butter in a bowl. Once combined, press the mixture firmly into a 9×13-inch pan. Make sure it’s evenly spread, then chill it in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
  2. Cream cheese layer: In a separate bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until it’s smooth and creamy. Gently fold in one cup of the Cool Whip, then spread this mixture evenly over the chilled Oreo crust. Chill again while you prepare the next layer.
  3. Prepare the Jello: Follow the package instructions to prepare the Strawberry Jello. Let it cool slightly, then pour it over the cream cheese layer. Don’t forget to add the sliced strawberries on top, creating a gorgeous layer of fruit. Chill the layers for at least 30 minutes, or until the Jello is fully set.
  4. Final topping: Once the Jello is set, spread the remaining Cool Whip over the top of the dessert. Decorate with additional strawberry slices if desired.
  5. Chill before serving: Allow the entire lasagna to chill in the refrigerator for at least 180 minutes before serving; this helps all the flavors meld beautifully.

Notes

For best results, use fresh strawberries and allow enough chilling time for the layers to set properly. This dessert can also be made a day in advance.
