Ingredients
- 1 box of yellow cake mix
- Ingredients required for cake mix (usually water, oil, and eggs)
- 1 can of pineapple rings
- Maraschino cherries
- Brown sugar
- Butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the cake mix, about 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the cake mix by following the box directions and mixing well to achieve a smooth batter.
- Prepare the muffin tin by melting a bit of butter in each cup and sprinkling brown sugar over the melted butter.
- Add a pineapple ring in each muffin cup, followed by a maraschino cherry in the center.
- Pour the prepared cake batter over each pineapple and cherry, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
- Bake according to the cake mix instructions, about 18-22 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
