Description
A fun and easy treat made with green grapes, caramel, and chopped peanuts, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients
- 1 bag green grapes (preferably larger-sized)
- 1 (11 oz) bag caramel bits
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream or water
- 1½ cups chopped peanuts
- Toothpicks
Instructions
- Prepare the caramel: Begin by melting the caramel bits. Combine them with the heavy cream or water in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir occasionally for about 5 minutes, or until the mixture becomes a smooth caramel sauce.
- Dip the grapes: Take each grape and dip it into the melted caramel, making sure to cover about ¾ of the grape. Allow any excess caramel to drip back into the saucepan.
- Roll in peanuts: Immediately roll the dipped grape in the chopped peanuts, ensuring an even coating.
- Set on baking sheet: Place the coated grapes on a foil-lined baking sheet.
- Chill and serve: Once all the grapes are dipped and rolled, chill them in the refrigerator. Just before serving, let them sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes to soften slightly.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
